At present the most convenient, reliable and cheapest mode of communication is internet. For the significant improvement of economic, social and educational development, it has a huge potential In Bangladesh. Automation in the production process of goods and services both in government and private sectors, it brings a huge development. We know that internet has some demerits too. Nowadays, especially the teenagers are the direct victim of internet and face the danger of demerits of internet. Students chat and waste their time with their friends or even unknown persons, when they are supposed to be at their desk to study. Besides, people are becoming addicted to the social networking like Facebook, Imu, Whatsapp sites by spending too much time on internet. This makes them isolated from family and friends. Thus, people are becoming unsocial. The importance of internet is vast. Internet helps us communicate with the people all around the world. It is an effective, quick and easy medium of communication. Like all other countries, necessity of internet in Bangladesh is very important. People depends on internet much but it is a matter of great sorrow that high speed internet has not reached to all region of the country yet. Moreover the cost is high but the speed is low. So, the people are being deprived of the prime benefit of internet. The ISP (Internet Service Providers) are not getting enough opportunities and options from the government either. In order to develop the communication system, we must take necessary steps to make the internet facilities better in our country; otherwise, we will always lag behind.
