Physical Exercise

Physical exercise takes care of our physical and mental health simultaneously. Exercises are directly related to our physical health. They make our body active and muscles strong. They also improve our power of digestion and blood circulation. In addition, they make our brain function better. A man who does regular exercise is likely to be free from diseases and illness. He can work hard, and thus, earn a better livelihood. Again, physical exercise is no less important in case of mental health. First, exercise improves mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and negative mood. Second, it develops self-esteem and cognitive function. It has also been found to alleviate symptoms such as low self-esteem and social withdrawal. For example, patients suffering from schizophrenia can control weight, increase fitness levels, exercise tolerance, etc. by doing physical exercise. To summarize, physical exercise brings about a great number of physical and mental benefits, which help us make our life better eventually.
