Environment Pollution

Environment pollution means the pollution of air, water, sound, odour, soil and other elements of it. We need safe and clean environment. Pollution of it has tremendous bad effects. Any sort of pollution may bring the doom of life. At present, our environment is being polluted at an alarming rate, Air, the most important element of environment is polluted by smoke from railway engines and power-houses, or the burning of coal and oil or the making of bricks. Water, another vital element is being polluted by the use of chemicals and insecticides or oil seeping from damaged super tankers or by industrial discharge. Sound pollution is caused by the use of microphones and loud speakers. All these pollutions may wipe out our existence from the earth. The destruction of forest also causes environment imbalance that makes the wild animals wipe out. So, it is our moral duty to prevent environment pollution. We must keep it safe and sound.

পরিবেশ দূষণ বলতে বায়ু, পানি, শব্দ, গন্ধ, মাটি ও এর অন্যান্য উপাদানের দূষণকে বুঝায়। আমাদের নিরাপদ ও নির্মল পরিবেশ আবশ্যক। এ দূষণের ভয়ানক খারাপ পরিণতি আছে। যে কোন ধরনের দূষণ জীবনের ধ্বংস ডেকে আনতে পারে। বর্তমানে আমাদের পরিবেশ বিপজ্জনক হারে দূষিত হচ্ছে। বায়ু পরিবেশের সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ উপাদান, যা রেলওয়ে ইঞ্জিন ও পাওয়ার হাউস অথবা তেল পোড়ানো ও তেল অথবা ইট তৈরির ধোঁয়া থেকে দূষিত হয়। পানি অপর জীবন রক্ষাকারী উপাদান, যা রাসায়নিক পদার্থের ও কীটনাশকের ব্যবহার, বৃহৎ তেলবাহী জাহাজ থেকে চুঁইয়ে পড়া তেল অথবা শিল্প বর্জ্যের দ্বারা দূষিত হচ্ছে। শব্দ দূষণের কারণ মাইক্রোফোন ও উচ্চশব্দসম্পন্ন স্পিকারের ব্যবহার। এসব দূষণ পৃথিবীর থেকে আমাদের অস্তিত্ব মুছে দিতে পারে। পরিবেশের ভারসাম্যহীনতার জন্য বনউজাড় ও দায়ী যা বন্য প্রাণীকে বিলুপ্ত করবে। তাই পরিবেশ দূষণ প্রতিরোধ করা আমাদের নৈতিক দায়িত্ব। আমরা অবশ্যই এটি নিরাপদ রাখবো।
