Satchhari National Park is located on Raghunandan hill in Chunarughat Upazila of Habiganj  quarter. Satchhari National Park is a natural demesne in Bangladesh. Satchhari National Park was established in 2005 with an area of 243 hectares under the Wildlife Conservation/ Amendment Act of 1974. There are seven hill rhymes in this  theater , hence its name Satchhari.

What was the  former name of Satchhari?

 The  former name of Satchhari was “ Raghunandan Hill Reserve Forest ”. The  public demesne is densely  girdled by several tea  auditoriums ,  townlets,  municipalities, and arable lands. There are 9 tea  auditoriums  near Satchhari Udyan. Satchhari Tea Garden is located on the west side of the  theater  and Chaklapunji Tea Garden is located on the east side. A  vill called Tiprapara is located inside the park. Where 24 indigenous  ethnical families  reside.

The people of the fourteen  near  townlets, especially the tea  theater  employees  and  timber  residers,  hinge on  timber  coffers in  colorful ways. Satchhari National Park has 145 species of plants and 197 species of  creatures. Of which 149 species of birds, 24 species of mammals, 18 species of reptiles, and 6 species of amphibians. In the Satchhari National Park, the ape bounding from one tree to another and the  grassing  of  colorful  stripes of insects give great  happiness to the excursionists. Among the 24 species of mammals in this  timber, hams, fish tigers,  gormandizers, snakes, mouth- watering Hanuman, spectacled Hanuman, shy monkeys,etc. are  noble. Among the 149 species of  catcalls, the  swiller, the red- headed trogon, and among the  delicate  shops, the  toxin, the pitraj, the kanaidinga, the agar, etc., are  noble. 20 species of wildlife are on the verge of  extermination.

These endangered species carry cheetahs, fish barracuda , shy monkeys, Maya deer, hams,  cadavers,  suckers, pheasants, eagles, and other wildlife.

How to Go There Satchari National Forest?

 The easiest  expressway to get from Dhaka is to take any Sylhet- bound  machine to Madhabpur Muktijoddha Chattar and from there take a  machine or a maxi to Satchhari.  either, one can go to Habiganj by rail and road from Dhaka and from there also to Satchhari.  either, Agradut Paribahan, Diganta Paribahan, and Bichmillah Paribahan go directly to Habiganj from Dhaka’s Saidabad.    still, you have to get off at Sayestaganj position, If you want to go to Habiganj by cortege . 

The distance from then to the  megacity is around 14 kilometers. The intercity cortege  Parabat Express leaves from Kamalapur in Dhaka at6.40 am every day of the week except Tuesday. Jayantika Express leaves daily at 2 pm. The Upban Express leaves at 10 pm every day of the week except Wednesdays. Paharika Express leaves Chittagong every day except Monday at 815 am. Udayan Express at 9 pm every day except Saturday. 

And those who want to go from Habiganj Sadar can go to Habiganj to Madhabpur via Chunarughat  machine or reserve CNG or microbus. You'll get a  companion from the information  locus of Satchhari Udyan. Although charts are  handed on the  department demesne, a  companion should be taken. Because in the beginning there were instructions about the  track but nowhere in the  timber there are instructions about this. There's no arrangement to stay or eat in Satchhari NationalPark.However, you can  chamber at night in groups, If you want.  still,  previous permission of the  wood  office  department is  needed.   In  extension, the  cabin, located next to the main  admittance to the Rema- Kalenga Wildlife Sanctuary, can accommodate eight people in three apartments.
