However, if tourists want to leave Lalakhal and go back to Sylhet at night, they must go before evening because there is no way, especially by water, to go back to the central town of Sylhet after that.

When you want to go on a trip to Lalakhal, there are different ways you can get there. You can take a bus, a train, or even an airplane from Dhaka to Sylhet. The cost of traveling by road will be between 400 taka and 1100 taka. If you choose to go by train, it will cost you between 150 taka and 1020 taka.

But there is another option for traveling, and you can get information about it at Komolapur Rail Station. If you choose to travel by airplane, it can cost you anywhere between Taka 4000 to Taka 8500, but different airlines have different prices. The bus journey takes around 6 hours, the train journey takes around 7 hours, and the airplane journey takes less than or around 1 hour.

When you go from Sylhet to Lalakhal, you can choose to travel in cars or microbuses. These are vehicles that you can hire and they are used by tourists. The cost of using these services can be between 1000 taka and 3000 taka. Microbuses are more expensive than hired cars. There is also a public transport option available which is a bus or a legoona. A legoona is like a van with covered space at the back where people sit. The cost of using the bus or legoona is around 70 to 80 taka.

In Lalakhal, the cost of boats can be different but usually falls between 600 and 800 taka. If a tourist wants to stay in Lalakhal, specifically at Nazimghor resort, the prices are around 7000 taka for a regular room and 15000 taka for a fancier room.
