Essay - Terrorism in Educational Institutions

Introduction: Terrorism in educational institution in our country has become very rampant at present. It creates a dreadful situation for us. The educational institutions are like the flower gardens. Our future generation springs from here. But it is a matter of regret that our educational institutions have been highly threatened by this terrorism. 

What is terrorism?: Terrorism means the way to get desired results through the use of threat or violence. It is intended to create fear and panic among the public to achieve the objectives.  

Terrorism in educational institutions: At present terrorism has spread in our educational institutions like the webs of spiders. There prevails violence and terror in every institution. The ordinary students are terrified at the sparks of the arms and weapons. Anyone can seem that the students are learning how- to use the arms and the institutions are the industries of the arms. This terrorism has also terrified the teachers who fear to move freely in the campus. Thus the terrorism in educational institutions is spoiling the smooth atmosphere of education.

Arms used by the terrorists: Our educational institutions have become a mini cantonment. The residential halls are the ammunition stores of the terrorists. Numerous types of wo arms are used here. The terrorists get these from different f sources. Sometimes the students themselves prepare these arms. The arms used in educational institutions are pistol, revolver, gun, axe, razor, cocktail etc. It seems our students are learning the use of arms and their preservation.  

Causes of terrorism in educational institutions: Our students had a glorious past. They contributed a lot for the f sake of our country and its people. Now-a-days our students are derailed. They can not go to the direct tract. They are involved in anti-social and terrorist activities. The students are being used by our politicians to implement their obnoxious aims. They are giving them serious arms. Not only that, long pressed disappointments, frustrations, deprivation etc. are another causes of terrorism in our institutions. Again the lapse of moral principles and justice, political unrest, lack of proper guidance and aimless life also accelerate to spread terrorism. Our faulty educational curriculum and policy also help to create terrorism in our campuses.  

Effect of terrorism: Terrorism in educational institutions has dire consequences. It is greatly hampering the academic atmosphere of our institutions. The institutions are closed sine die. The exams can not be held. As a result, session jam is created. It pressurizes on the institutions. The guardians have to pay a lot of money for their son's education. The nation also fails to get the service of brilliant sons. The terrorism in educational institutions often snatches away the lives of students. The students return to their mothers laps dead. Because of the wide spread terrorism in our institutions, our universities are losing the students.  

Ways to solve this terrorism: The terrorism in our educational institutions have increased without reins. But it must be stopped for nation's sake immediately.

 For these we have to ensure-  

1. Regular study in institutions.  

2. Fulfillment of our students desire about educational needs. Expulsion of outsiders from campuses.  

3. Good communication and exchange of views among the students.  

4. Curriculum and policy should be revised and innovative. Free and fair educational administration.  

5. Consensus of political parties and their co-operation in removing this.  

6. Sufficient security and vigilance of our police forces keeping impartiality.  

Conclusion: Terrorism is heinous. It is destructive. No sane man wants it. It must be removed from our educational institutions. We have to ensure a fresh and peaceful atmosphere for the institution. The students should be purged off. They should work for their own betterment. They should engage themselves in study not in arms. 

রচনা - শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে সন্ত্রাসবাদ 

ভূমিকা : বর্তমানে আমাদের দেশে শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে সন্ত্রাসবাদ ব্যাপক অনিয়ন্ত্রিত পর্যায়ে চলে গেছে। এটা আমাদের জন্য একটি ভীতিজনক পরিস্থিতির সৃষ্টি করেছে। শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো ফুল বাগানের মতো। আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্ম এখান থেকে উৎপত্তি লাভ করে। কিন্তু এটি পরিতাপের বিষয় যে আমাদের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো ব্যাপকভাবে সন্ত্রাসবাদের দ্বারা হুমকির সম্মুখীন হয়েছে।

সন্ত্রাসবাদ কী? : সন্ত্রাসবাদ বলতে ভীতি প্রদর্শন অথবা সহিংসতার মাধ্যমে কাঙ্ক্ষিত ফল লাভ করা বুঝায়। এটা তাদের লক্ষ্য হাসিল করতে জনগণের  মধ্যে ভয় এবং আতঙ্ক সৃষ্টি করে ।  

শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে সন্ত্রাসবাদ : বর্তমানে আমাদের দেশের শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে মাকড়সার জালের মতো সন্ত্রাসবাদ ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। প্রত্যেক প্রতিষ্ঠানে অনিষ্ট এবং ভয় অধিকতর শক্তিশালী। সাধারণ ছাত্রছাত্রীরা অস্ত্রশস্ত্রের স্ফুলিঙ্গ দেখে ভয়ে ভীত। যে কেউ ধারণা করতে পারে যে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা শিখছে কিভাবে অস্ত্র ব্যবহার করতে হয় এবং প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো অস্ত্রের কারখানা হচ্ছে। এ সন্ত্রাসবাদ শিক্ষকদেরকেও আতঙ্কিত করে। তারা চত্বরে স্বাধীনভাবে চলাফেরা করতে ভয় পায়। এভাবে শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে সন্ত্রাসবাদ শিক্ষার শান্ত পরিবেশটা নষ্ট করছে। সন্ত্রাসীরাসের দ্বারা যে অস্ত্র ব্যবহৃত হয় আমাদের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো ছোটখাটো সেনাছাউনি হয়েছে। আবাসিক হলগুলো সন্ত্রাসীদের গোলাবারুদের ভাণ্ডার হয়েছে। অনেক সময় অসংখ্য রকমের অস্ত্র ব্যবহৃত হয়। সন্ত্রাসীরা এগুলো বিভিন্ন উৎস থেকে পায়। মাঝে মাঝে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা অস্ত্র তৈরি করে। যে অস্ত্র শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে ব্যবহৃত হয় সেগুলো হলো পিস্তল, রিভলভার, বন্ধুক, কুঠার, ক্ষুর, ককটেল প্রভৃতি। এটা মনে হয় যে আমাদের ছাত্রছাত্রীরা অস্ত্রের ব্যবহার শিখেছে এবং সেগুলো সংরক্ষণ করছে।  

শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে সন্ত্রাসবাসের কারণ: আমাদের ছাত্রছাত্রীদের একটি গৌরবময় অতীত ছিল। তারা আমাদের দেশ ও মানুষের জন্য অনেক অবদান রেখেছিল। বর্তমানে আমাদের ছাত্রছাত্রীরা বিপথগামী। তারা সরাসরি ন্যায়ের পথে যেতে পারে না। তারা সমাজ বিরোধী এবং সন্ত্রাসী কর্মকাণ্ডে জড়িত। ছাত্রছাত্রীরা আমাদের রাজনীতিবিদদের দ্বারা তাদের নোংরা উদ্দেশ্য চরিতার্থ করতে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে। তারা তাদেরকে মারাত্মক অস্ত্র দিচ্ছে। শুধু তাই নয়, নৈরাশ্য, হতাশা, বঞ্চনা প্রভৃতি আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানের অন্যতম কারণ। আবার নৈতিক রীতিনীতি এবং বিচারের ত্রুটি, রাজনৈতিক অস্থিরতা, যথাযথ নির্দেশনার অভাব এবং উদ্দেশ্যহীন জীবন সন্ত্রাসবাদ ছড়িয়ে পড়তে কোবান করে। আমাদের ত্রুটিযুক্ত পাঠ্যক্রম এবং রাজনীতি ও আমাদের চত্বরে সন্ত্রাসবাদ সৃষ্টি করতে সাহায্য করে।  

সন্ত্রাসবাদের ফলাফল: শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে সন্ত্রাসবাদ ভয়ানক প্রভাব ফেলেছে। এটা ব্যাপকভাবে আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক পরিবেশ বাধাগ্রস্ত করছে। প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য বন্ধ থাকে। পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হতে পারে না। ফলে, বর্ষ জট সৃষ্টি হয়। এটা প্রতিষ্ঠানের উপর চাপ সৃষ্টি করে। অভিভাবক তাদের সন্তানদের পড়াশুনা করানোর জন্য অনেক টাকা খরচ করতে হয়। জাতি মেধাবী সন্তানদের সেবা পেতেও ব্যর্থ হয়। শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের সন্ত্রাসবাদ প্রায়ই ছাত্রদের জীবন কেড়ে নেয়। ছাত্ররা মৃত হয়ে তাদের মায়ের কোলে ফিরে আসে। আমাদের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে ব্যাপক সন্ত্রাসবাদ ছড়িয়ে পড়ার কারণে, আমাদের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলো ছাত্রছাত্রী হারাচ্ছে। সন্ত্রাসবাদ সমাধান করার উপায় : আমাদের শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে কোন লাগাম ছাড়াই সন্ত্রাসবাদ বেড়েছে। কিন্তু জাতির উদ্দেশ্যে এটা অবশ্যই তৎক্ষণাত বন্ধ করতে হবে।  

এর জন্য আমাদের নিশ্চিত করতে হবে : 

(ক) শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে নিয়মিত পড়াশুনা করতে হবে।
 (খ) আমাদের ছাত্রছাত্রীদের প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক চাহিদা পূরণ করতে হবে। 
(গ) চত্ত্বর থেকে বহিরাগতদের বিতাড়িত করতে হবে। (ঘ) ছাত্রছাত্রীদের মধ্যে যোগাযোগ ও মতবিনিময়ের সুব্যবস্থা করতে হবে। 
(ঙ) বইয়ের পাঠ্যক্রম এবং রাজনৈতিক ব্যবস্থা সংশোধন এবং প্রবর্তন করতে হবে। 
(চ) প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক প্রশাসন অবাধ এবং ন্যায্য হতে হবে। (ছ) রাজনৈতিক দলের ঐক্যতা এবং তাদের সহযোগিতা থেকে এগুলো দূরে থাকতে হবে 
(জ) প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য আমাদের পুলিশ বাহিনীর নিরপেক্ষ নিরাপত্ত ও পাহারাদার রাখতে হবে।  

উপসংহার : সন্ত্রাসবাদ ঘৃণ্য। এটি ধ্বংসাত্মক। কোন সুস্থ মানুষ এটা চায় না। এটা অবশ্যই আমাদের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে সরাতে হবে। আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য একটি সতেজ এবং শান্তিপ্রিয় পরিবেশ সুনিশ্চিত করতে হবে। ছাত্রছাত্রীদের অপরাধমুক্ত হওয়া উচিত। তাদেরকে তাদের নিজের ভালোর জন্য কাজ করা উচিত। তাদের নিজেকে পড়াশুনায় নিয়োজিত করা উচিত, অস্ত্রে নয়।
