Essay - Value of Time

Introduction: Time is always running. It does not stop for none. It goes on and on From inception, time moves on its way. This is the law of nature. We have to move forward realizing this truth.

Human life and time: Human life is short and transitory. Human life is limited to the infinity of time. We have to work a lot within our limited span. To make our life significant and justified as the best creation, we have to utilize time in a right manner. Thus human life is redeemed with the proper use of time.  

Value of time: The value of time is immense. It can not be described in words. Lost time can not be returned. Money, riches or power can be got it back. Every single moment is valuable. To reach the nadir of perfection, we have to utilize every single moment of our life. To do good to us or society, we must utilize time properly.  

Use of time: Time and tide wait for none. The time of use must be practiced. We should not waste time. We have to shun our attitude of neglecting time. "Proper work in proper time" should be the motto of our life. In every man's life. it must be cultivated. Otherwise, failures will engulf us. Life of the great men urges us to utilize time properly and sincerely. 

Value of time in student life: The value of time is highly essential in student life. The students' success depends largely upon the proper use of time. The students have to study from the start of the year. Right use of time enables the students to complete their syllabus in time. Thus a punctual student takes well preparation in due time and can cut a good figure in the exam.  

In professional life: Punctually is of great necessity in professional life. The professionals can uplift their status and dignity by following the method of punctuality. A doctor has to be punctual in his devotion of saving the lives of patients. An engineer has to be punctual to finish his work in time. A business man has to be sincere to utilize time to get profit. Thus in professional life, the importance of time is undeniable and obligatory.  

Use of time in animal world: The animal world also uses time properly. Bees, ants, birds and other animals are very sincere to time. They work hard to meet up their needs in time. The birds return to their nests as soon as it dawns. The cattle are busy to return their sheds after sunset. It is seen that the fowls tend to enter into their cots before sunset. 

Neglect of time: It is highly regrettable that many people do not know the importance of time. They neglect it. As they put off work for tomorrow they can not finish it in time. They suffer from this. They fail both in personal and social life. The neglectful man becomes lazy and inactive. He has to depend on others. He becomes liable to others. He becomes a burden to himself. We have to bear in mind that an idle brain is devil's workshop."  

Conclusion: Time is very valuable. We must realize it. We must not ignore it. The habit of utilizing time should be cultivated at the early stage of our life. If we can make the proper use of time, we will be able to satisfy ourselves and leave a good name behind. The man or nation who neglects time lags behind. Therefore, we must use time properly.

ভূমিকা : সময় সর্বদা চলমান। এটি কারোর জন্য থেমে থাকে না। এটা ক্রমাগত চলে যায়। প্রারম্ভ থেকে সময় এর গতিতে চলে। এটি প্রকৃতির নিয়ম। আমাদের এর সত্যতা বুঝার জন্য এগিয়ে যেতে হবে।  

মানবজীবন এবং সময়: মানবজীবন সংক্ষিপ্ত এবং ক্ষণস্থায়ী। অনন্ত সময়ের মধ্যে মানব জীবন সীমাবদ্ধ। আমাদের নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে অনেক কাজ করতে হয়। আমাদের জীবন তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ এবং উত্তম সৃষ্টি হিসেবে বিচারযোগ্য। আমাদের সময়ের সঠিক ব্যবহার করতে হবে। এভাবে মানবজীবন সময়ের যথাযথ ব্যবহারের সাথে পালন করা হয়।  

সময়ের মূল্য: সময়ের মূল্য অসীম। এটা কথায় বর্ণনা করা যাবে না। হারানো সময় ফিরে আসে না। টাকা, ধনসম্পদ অথবা ক্ষমতা এটিকে ফিরিয়ে আনতে পারে না। প্রত্যেক মুহূর্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। ভালো লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছাতে হলে, আমাদের জীবনের প্রতিটি মুহূর্তের সদ্ব্যবহার করতে হবে। আমাদের অথবা সমাজের মঙ্গলের জন্য অবশ্যই সময়ের যথার্থ ব্যবহার করতে হবে।  

সময়ের ব্যবহার: সময় এবং স্রোত কারোর জন্য অপেক্ষা করে না। সময়ের ব্যবহার অবশ্যই অভ্যাস করতে হবে। আমাদের সময় অপচয় করা উচিত নয়। আমাদের সময়কে অবহেলা করার দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি বাদ দিতে হবে। “উপযুক্ত সময়ে সঠিক কাজ" আমাদের প্রত্যেকের জীবনের মূলমন্ত্র হওয়া উচিত। প্রত্যেক মানুষের জীবনে, এটি চর্চা করতে হবে। অন্যথায় ব্যর্থতা আমাদের গ্রাস করবে। মহৎ মানুষের জীবনী আমাদেরকে উপযুক্ত এবং আন্তরিকভাবে সময়ের ব্যবহার করতে ভাড়া করে।  

ছাত্রজীবনে সময়ের মূল্য: ছাত্রজীবনে সময়ের মূল্য অনেক অপরিহার্য। ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সফলতা ব্যাপকভাবে সময়ের সঠিক ব্যবহারের উপর নির্ভর করে। ছাত্রছাত্রীদের বছরের শুরু থেকে পাঠ শুরু করতে হয়। সময়ের সঠিক ব্যবহার ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সিলেবাস সময়মতো সম্পূর্ণ করতে সক্ষম করে। এভাবে একজন সময়নিষ্ঠ ছাত্র যথাসময়ে ভালো প্রস্তুতি নেয় এবং পরীক্ষায় ভালো ফলাফল করতে পারে।  

পেশাগত জীবনে সময়ের মূল্য: পেশাগত জীবনে সময়নিষ্ঠতার সবচেয়ে বেশি প্রয়োজনীয়তা রয়েছে। পেশায় নিয়োজিত কর্মীরা তাদের মানমর্যাদা সময়নিষ্ঠতার পদ্ধতি অনুষরণ করে অনেক উপরে তুলতে পারে। একজন ডাক্তারকে একজন রোগীর জীবন বাঁচাতে তাকে সময়নিষ্ঠ হতে হবে। একজন প্রকৌশলীকে তার কাজ সময়মতো শেষ করতে সময়নিষ্ঠ হতে হবে। একজন ব্যবসায়ীকে মুনাফা পেতে সময়ের ব্যবহার সম্পর্কে আন্তরিক হতে হবে। এভাবে পেশাগত জীবনে সময়ের গুরুত্ব অনস্বীকার্য এবং বাধ্যতামূলক।

প্রাণিজগতে সময়ের ব্যবহার: প্রাণিজগৎ সময়ের ব্যবহার করে। মৌমাছি, পিঁপড়া, পাখি এবং অন্যান্য প্রাণীরাও সময়ের ব্যাপারে খুব আন্তরিক। তারা দৈনন্দিন চাহিদা মেটাতে সময়ের সাথে কঠোর পরিশ্রম করে। যেইমাত্র সন্ধ্যা হয় পাখিরা তাদের বাসায় ফিরে আসে। গরু বাছুর সূর্যাস্তের পরে তাদের বাসায় ফিরে আসতে ব্যস্ত থাকে। এটি দেখা যায় যে মোরগ সূর্যাস্তের আগে তাদের খাঁচায় প্রবেশ করে। 

সময়ের অবহেলা: এটি পরিতাপের বিষয় যে অনেকে সময়ের গুরুত্ব জানে না। তারা এটাকে অবহেলা করে। যখন তারা তাদের কাজ আগামী দিনের জন্য রেখে দেয়, তারা এটি সময়মতো শেষ করতে পারে না। তারা এথেকে ভোগে। তারা ব্যক্তিগত এবং সামাজিক জীবনে ব্যর্থ হয়। অবহেলিত মানুষ অলস এবং অকর্মণ্য হয় । তাকে অন্যের উপর নির্ভর করতে হয়। সে অন্যদের বোঝা হয়। সে নিজের কাছে বোঝা হয়ে যায়। আমাদের মনে রাখতে হবে যে অলস মস্তিষ্ক শয়তানের কারখানা।  

উপসংহার: সময় খুব মূল্যবান। আমাদের অবশ্যই এটি বুঝতে হবে। আমাদের এটি অবজ্ঞা করা উচিত নয়। আমাদের জীবনের শুরু থেকে সময়ের ব্যবহার করার অভ্যাস করা উচিত। যদি আমরা সময়ের উপযুক্ত ব্যবহার করতে পারি, আমরা নিজেদের সন্তুষ্ট করতে সমর্থ হবো এবং এর পিছনে ভালো নাম করতে পারবো। মানুষ বা কোন জাতি যারা সময়ের অবহেলা করে তারা পিছিয়ে পড়ে। যাহোক আমাদের অবশ্যই যথাযথভাবে সময়ের ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
