Essay - Women's Contributions

Introduction: Women constitute half of the total population of our country. So, their role in our national development is great. They are equal to men in this regard. No one can deny it. Now let us discuss women's contributions to our national development.  

Roles of women: The traditional roles of women are many. They play their roles as mothers, wives and homemakers. In the past, women were dependent on the males. But things are changing now. They are becoming educated. Now they are conscious of their rights. They are no longer confined to the four walls of their homes. They are coming out of home. They are joining many jobs. They are competing with men. They are working in garments, educational institutions, mills and factories. Many women are becoming pilots, doctors, engineers and so on. Many of them are protecting the country. Now, we see that women are involved in politics.  

They are becoming Prime Minister, Home Minister, Foreign Minister and what not. Women are contributing to family income. They have been able to bring happiness and peace to their families. Thus, women have brought benefits for our families, society and for the nation.  

Women are working hard in garment industries. Their hard work helps to earn foreign exchange. The owners are being encouraged to establish more industries. Thus women are greatly contributing to our garment industries.  

Women play an important role in agriculture. Their handicrafts earn foreign exchange. Thus, they help in national development.  

Now, women are removing the darkness of ignorance through education. They are getting involved in mass education. They are also becoming involved in family planning campaign. Thus they are contributing to the national issues.  

Attitude towards them: At present men have changed their attitude towards women. Now every sector is open for women. They can easily join any job. They proved their worth. Like men they are respected in every job.

Conclusion: In the end, we can say that women are our great assets. They are helping in our national development. We should create suitable environment for their work. Otherwise, the country will lag behind.

ভূমিকা : আমাদের দেশের অর্ধেক জনসংখ্যা নারী। তাই, আমাদের জাতীয় উন্নয়নে তাদের ভূমিকা অনেক। এক্ষেত্রে তারা পুরুষের সমান। কেউ এটি অস্বীকার করতে পারে না। এখন চলো আমাদের জাতীয় উন্নয়নে মহিলাদের অবদান আলোচনা করি।  

নারীদের ভূমিকা: নারীদের ঐতিহ্যবাহী ভূমিকা অনেক। মা, স্ত্রী এবং গৃহকর্মী হিসেবে তারা তাদের ভূমিকা রাখে। অতীতে নারীরা পুরুষের উপর নির্ভর করতো। কিন্তু বিষয়টি এখন পরিবর্তন হচ্ছে। তারা শিক্ষিত হচ্ছে। এখন তারা তাদের অধিকার সম্পর্কে সচেতন। তারা তাদের বাড়ির চার দেওয়ালের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ নেই। তারা বাড়ির বাইরে বেরিয়ে আসছে। তারা অনেক কাজে অংশগ্রহণ করছে। তারা পুরুষের সাথে প্রতিযোগিতা করছে। তারা গার্মেন্টস, শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান, কলকারখানায় কাজ করছে। অনেক মহিলা পাইলট, ডাক্তার, প্রকৌশলী এবং আরো অনেক কিছু হচ্ছে। তাদের মধ্যে অনেকে দেশরক্ষা করছে। এখন আমরা দেখি যে মহিলারা রাজনীতিতে জড়িয়ে পড়েছে। তারা প্রধানমন্ত্রী, স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রী, পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রী এবং আরো কত কি হচ্ছে। মহিলারা পরিবারের আয়ে অবদান রাখছে। তারা পরিবারে সুখ শান্তি বয়ে আনতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। এভাবে, মহিলারা আমাদের পরিবার, সমাজ এবং জাতির জন্য উপকার বয়ে নিয়ে আসছে।  

মহিলারা গার্মেন্টসে কঠোর পরিশ্রম করছে। তাদের কঠোর পরিশ্রম বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা অর্জন করতে সাহায্য করে। মালিকেরা আরো কারখানা প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে উৎসাহিত হচ্ছে। এভাবে মহিলারা আমাদের গার্মেন্টস শিল্পে ব্যাপক অবদান রাখছে।  

মহিলারা কৃষিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখে। তাদের কুঠিরশিল্প বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা অর্জন করে। এভাবে তারা জাতীয় উন্নয়নে সহায়তা করে। এখন মহিলারা শিক্ষার মাধ্যমে অজ্ঞতার অন্ধকার দূর করছে। তারা গণশিক্ষার জড়িয়ে পড়ছে। তারা পরিবার পরিকল্পনা অভিযানেও জড়িয়ে পড়ছে। এভাবে তারা জাতীয় বিষয়েও অবদান রাখছে।  

তাদের প্রতি দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি : বর্তমানে পুরুষরা মহিলাদের প্রতি তাদের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি পরিবর্তন করেছে। এখন প্রত্যেক খাত মহিলাদের জন্য খোলা। তারা সহজেই যে কোন চাকরিতে অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারে। তারা তাদের যোগ্যতা প্রমাণ করছে। পুরুষের মতো তারা প্রত্যেক চাকরিতে সম্মানিত।  

উপসংহার: অবশেষে, আমরা বলতে পারি যে মহিলারা আমাদের বড় সম্পদ। তারা আমাদের জাতীয় উন্নয়নে সাহায্য করছে। আমাদের তাদের কাজের জন্য উপযুক্ত পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি করা উচিত। অন্যথায়, দেশ পিছিয়ে যাবে।
