Essay - The Village I live in

Introduction: Bangladesh is a country of villages. Over 85 thousand villages are here. My native village is the best village to me. It is related to my life and blood. Our ancestors lived in this village. I think this village is my whole being.  

Situation and area: The name of my village is Konra. It is in the district of Satkhira. Its area is one square kilometer. It is only two kilometers away from the thana headquarter. Population: My village is densely populated. About 15 thousand people live in this village. Most of them are Muslims. There are also Hindus in our village. All of them live together. There is no communal disparity here. People mix with others without any prejudice. We feel no grudge against others. In any religious occasions, our villagers share their feelings. Most of the people here are farmers. Agriculture is their main occupation. Some of my villagers are service holders and a few are business men. Our villagers live a very simple and easy life.  

Communication: Our village has a good communication net work. It is directly linked with the thana as well as the district headquarter by means of a metalled road. There is also a good road within our village. The villagers use this road. There is no mud road here. So our villagers do not face any problems in rainy season.  

Educational institution: Our village is rich in education. There are two primary schools here. All our children go to these schools. There is also a high school on the out skirt in our village. There are also chances for religious education in our village.

Market: There is a large market at the center of our village. Our villagers meet their daily necessities from here. This market sits everyday.  

Climate: The climate of our village is very nice. It is very congenial to the health of the people. Our village is covered with green trees and plants. These trees protect our village from any sort of natural mishaps. These also help to keep our environment neat and fresh.  

Natural scenery: The natural scenery in our village is very charming. The green trees, vast fields, open spaces etc. add to the beauties of nature. People can enjoy themselves taking rest under the groves. Whenever the paddy grows, our village appears a fresh look.  

Economic condition: The economic condition of our village is satisfactory. Our village people are not rich but there is no want here. People live here in food and shelter. Most of our houses are mud-built. Some are also brick built. But it is true that within these mud or brick, there exists happiness.  

Games and sports facilities: Our village is provided with the chances of games and sports. There is a sports club here. It has earned fame in our thana sports competition. In the evening our people take part in different sports.  

Conclusion: My village is an ideal one. To me, there is no place as beautiful as this village. I love it from my heart. I feel this village. Whenever I go, I feel its beckoning. I try to develop this village more and more.  

রচনা - যে গ্রামে আমি বাস করি

ভূমিকা:  বাংলাদেশ একটি গ্রামপ্রধান দেশ। এখানে ৮৫ হাজারের বেশি গ্রাম রয়েছে। আমার নিজের গ্রাম আমার কাছে উত্তম গ্রাম। এটা আমার জীবন ও রক্তের সাথে সম্পর্কিত। আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা এই গ্রামে বাস করতেন। আমি মনে করি এ গ্রাম আমার সামগ্রিক অস্তিত্ব।  

অবস্থান এবং আয়তন:  আমার গ্রামের নাম কোনরা। এটা সাতক্ষীরা জেলায় অবস্থিত। এর আয়তন এক বর্গ কিলোমিটার। এটি থানার প্রধান কার্যালয় থেকে মাত্র দুই কিলোমিটার দূরে।  

জনসংখ্যা : আমার গ্রামটা ঘনবসতিপূর্ণ। এ গ্রামে প্রায় ১৫ হাজার মানুষ বসবাস করে। তাদের মধ্যে অধিকাংশ মুসলামান। আমাদের গ্রামে হিন্দুরাও বসবাস করে। সবাই একত্রে বসবাস করে। এখানে কোন সাম্প্রদায়িক বৈষম্য নেই। মানুষ একে অন্যের সাথে কোন ক্ষতি ছাড়াই মিলেমিশে বসবাস করে। আমরা একে অন্যের বিরুদ্ধে কোন ঈর্ষা বোধ করি না। যে কোন ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানে, আমাদের গ্রামবাসীরা তাদের ভাব বিনিময় করে। এখানকার অধিকাংশ লোক কৃষক। কৃষিই তাদের প্রধান পেশা। আমার গ্রামের কিছু লোক চাকরিজীবী এবং কয়েকজন ব্যবসায়ী। আমাদের গ্রামবাসীরা একটি সাধারণ এবং সাবলীল জীবনযাপন করে।  

যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থ্যা : আমাদের গ্রামে ভালো যোগযোগ ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে। এটা সরাসরি একটি পাকা সড়কের মাধ্যমে থানা এবং জেলা সদরের সাথে সংযুক্ত। আমাদের গ্রামের মধ্য দিয়েও একটি ভালো রাস্তা রয়েছে। গ্রামবাসীরা এ পথটি নিয়ে যাতায়াত করে। এখানে কোন কাচা রাস্তা নেই। তাই আমাদের গ্রামবাসীদের বর্ষাকালে কোন সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হতে হয় না। 

শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান : আমাদের গ্রামটি শিক্ষায় সমৃদ্ধশালী। এখানে দুটি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় রয়েছে। আমাদের সকল ছেলেমেয়ে এ দুটি স্কুলে পড়াশুনা করে। আমাদের গ্রামের সীমান্তে একটি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ও রয়েছে। আমাদের গ্রামে ধর্মীয় শিক্ষারও সুযোগ আছে।  

বাজার : আমাদের গ্রামের মূল কেন্দ্রস্থলে একটি বিশাল বড় বাজার আছে। আমাদের গ্রামবাসীরা তাদের নিত্য দিনের চাহিদা এখান থেকে মেটায়। বাজারটি প্রতিদিন বসে।  

আবহাওয়া : আমাদের গ্রামের আবহাওয়া খুব সুন্দর। এটা মানুষের স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য খুবই উপযোগী। আমাদের গ্রামটি সবুজ গাছপালায় ঘেরা। এ গাছপালা আমাদের যে কোন প্রাকৃতিক দুর্ঘটনা থেকে রক্ষা করে। গাছপালা আমাদের পরিবেশ পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্ন এবং সতেজ রাখতেও সাহায্য করে।  

প্রাকৃতিক দৃশ্য : আমাদের গ্রামের প্রাকৃতিক দৃশ্য খুব চমৎকার। সবুজ গাছপালা, বিশাল মাঠ, খোলা আকাশ প্রভৃতি প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য বৃদ্ধি করে। মানুষ কুঞ্জবনে বসে বিশ্রাম নিয়ে নিজেরা উপভোগ করতে পারে। যখন ধান জন্মায়, আমাদের গ্রাম সতেজ দেখায়।  

অর্থনৈতিক অবস্থা: আমাদের গ্রামের অর্থনৈতিক অবস্থা সন্তোষজনক। আমাদের গ্রামের মানুষ ধনী নয় কিন্তু এখানে অভাব নেই। এখানে মানুষ ভালো খাবার খায় এবং ভালো আশ্রয়ে জীবন যাপন করে। আমাদের গ্রামের অধিকাংশ ঘরবাড়ি মাটির তৈরি। কিছু আবার ইটের তৈরি। কিন্তু এটা সত্তা যে এ মাটি এবং ইটের মধ্যে সুখ আছে। 

খেলাধুলার সুযোগ সুবিধা: আমাদের গ্রামে খেলাধুলার সুযোগ সুবিধা আছে। এখানে একটা খেলার ক্লাব রয়েছে। এটা আমাদের থানায় খেলাধুলা প্রতিযোগিতায় সম্মান অর্জন করেছে। বিকেলে মানুষ বিভিন্ন খেলাধুলায় অংশগ্রহণ করে।  

উপসংহার : আমার গ্রাম একটি আদর্শ গ্রাম। আমার কাছে এ গ্রামের মতো কোন সুন্দর জায়গা নেই । আমার মন থেকে আমি আমার গ্রামকে ভালোবাসি। আমি এ গ্রামকে উপভোগ করি। যখন আমি এ গ্রামে যাই, আমি এর ইশারা অনুভব করি। আমি এ গ্রামের অধিকতর উন্নতি করতে চেষ্টা করি।
