Essay - The Village Primary School
Location and infrastructure: A village primary school is situated on the outskirts of the village. It is held in the open space. Students of the casement area come here to learn education. It is held in a thatched or corrugated iron shed. But now-a-days the village primary school is brick built. The government and other donors help for the development of the village primary school. The tables, chairs and benches are not available in village school. Some few years ago students of the village primary school sat on mat or planks. But the infrastructure of it has been improved much.
Students and Teachers: A village primary school is the only seat of learning for the poor village students. Students come here from the surrounding areas. A village primary school is usually crowded. Students come here on foot. A village primary school has as many as four teachers. They are paid by the government. But in the registered primary school, the salary of the teachers is lower than those of the government schools. The teachers impart knowledge sincerely to the students. They have to pass time amidst of din and bustle made by the little students. Most of the teachers in a village primary school are trained.
Teaching materials: A village primary school needs a lot of teaching materials for the young learners. It is definite that this school lacks sufficient materials. There are chalk, pencil, black board and some pictures in a village primary school. With this meager amount of materials, a village primary school runs its noble work of spreading education to the little students.
Management of the school: A village primary school has a managing committee. This committee consists of the influential and educated people of the village. They keep vigilance on its smooth running. The Thana Education Officer also monitors the activities of the primary school. The management committee arranges functions for extra curricular activities of the students. On different occasions, sports or cultural functions are held. These types of activities mould the young learners to the proper achievement of knowledge.
Its usefulness: A village primary school has great importance. It spreads the education among the village children. It develops the mental faculties of the students. It creates the educated nation. It endeavors to prosper the hidden talents of the young learners. Thus the role of a village primary school is really significant.
What should be done?: A village primary school should be an attractive place for the children. Its infrastructure must be developed. Sufficient opportunities should be available here. It must have sufficient teaching materials. It will be adorned in such a way that the students feel fascinated to it. Its side should be ideal. The teachers here must be qualified and well trained. They must devote to their work. Everyone should take steps for the development of the village primary school. The government and local bodies should come forward to put strict vigilance on it so that it can suitably run its responsibilities.
Conclusion: The village primary school moulds the future of a nation. It should be properly equipped. For our sake, we should try our best to look after the village primary school.

ভূমিকা: একটি গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে গ্রাম্য ছেলেমেয়েদের প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা প্রদান করা হয়। শিক্ষা বিস্তারের জন্য এর ব্যাপক প্রয়োজনীয়তা রয়েছে। প্রাথমিক শিক্ষার প্রয়োজনীয়তা মোটেই অস্বীকার করা যা না। সর্বোপরি এর পারিপার্শ্বিকতা অবশ্যই সুপ্রসারিত এবং বিস্তৃত করতে হবে।
অবস্থান এবং অবকাঠামো: একটি গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় গ্রামের সীমানায় অবস্থিত হয়। এটি উন্মুক্ত স্থানে স্থাপন করা হয়। অনেক দূরের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা এখানে পড়াশুনা করতে আসে। এটি বড় অথবা ঢেউটিনের তৈরি হয়। কিন্তু বর্তমানে গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় ইটের তৈরি। সরকার এবং অন্যান্য দাতা সংস্থাগুলো মামা প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় উন্নয়নের জন্য সাহায্য করে। গ্রাম স্কুলগুলোতে পর্যাপ্ত টেবিল, চেয়ার এবং বেঞ্চ নেই। কয়েক বছর আগে গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্রছাত্রীরা মাদুরে অথবা তক্তায় বসতো। কিন্তু এখন এর অবকাঠামোর অনেক উন্নতি হয়েছে।

শিক্ষার সরঞ্জাম: একটি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে তরুণ শিক্ষার্থীদের শিক্ষা প্রদানের জন্য অনেক সরান সরকার হয়। এটি স্পষ্ট যে এ স্কুলগুলোতে পর্যাপ্ত সরঞ্জামের অভাব আছে। একটি গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে চক, পেন্সিল, কালোবোর্ড এবং ছবি রয়েছে। এ সামান্য সরঞ্জাম নিয়ে, একটি গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় শিশুদের পাঠদানের মহৎকাজ চালিয়ে যায়।

কি করা উচিত: একটি গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় ছেলেমেয়েদের জন্য একটি আকর্ষণীয় স্থানে পরিণত করা উচিত। এর অবকাঠামো অবশ্যই উন্নত হবে। এখানে পর্যাপ্ত সুযোগ সুবিধা থাকতে হবে। এর অবশ্যই পর্যাপ্ত শিক্ষার উপকরণ থাকতে হবে। এটি এমনভাবে সাজাতে হবে যেন ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এখানে এসে মুগ্ধ হয়। এর চারপাশ আদর্শপূর্ণ হবে। শিক্ষকেরা অবশ্যই যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন এবং প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত হবে। তারা অবশ্যই তাদের কাজকে উৎসর্গ করবে। প্রত্যেককে গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের উন্নতির জন্য পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া উচিত। সরকার এবং স্থানীয় লোকদের এর উপরে কড়া নজর রাখতে এগিয়ে আসা উচিত যাতে করে এটা উপযুক্তভাবে এর দায়দায়িত্ব চালাতে পারে।
উপসংহার : গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় একটি জাতির ভবিষ্যৎ গঠন করে। এটি যথাযথভাবে প্রস্তুত করা উচিত। আমাদের নিজেদের জন্য গ্রাম্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় দেখাশুনা করতে যথাযথ চেষ্টা করা উচিত।
